Ameer Lashon Speed (born October 13, 1999) is an American professional football cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia and Michigan State. He was drafted by the New England Patriots with the 214 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses.
