Ambarsariya
''Ambarsariya'' is an Indian Punjabi comedy thriller film directed by Mandeep Kumar, written by Dheeraj Rattan and starring Diljit Dosanjh, Monica Gill, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Lauren Gottlieb as the main cast of the film and was released worldwide on 25 March 2016. The movie was remade in Odia in 2018 as '' Prem Kumar: Salesman of the Year''. Plot Jatt Ambarsariya alias Diljit Singh (Diljit Dosanjh) lives a dual life as a RAW agent and insurance agent. He is put on a mission to save the honest and idealistic Home Minister of Punjab from a drug mafia who is plotting the minister's murder. During the course of the mission, Jatt Ambarsariya meets Jasleen Kaur (Navneet Kaur Dhillon), his boss at the insurance company. His boss falls for him. Then there is Kirat (Monica Gill), his landlord who is smitten by his charm and calmness. Dheeraj Rattan
Dheeraj Rattan is a screenplay and story writer known for films like ''Mumbai Salsa'' and ''Haal-e-dil''. He has worked with Vikram Bhatt on three successive horror films - ''1920, Shaapit and Phirr''. He made his screenplay and dialogue writing debut in the Punjabi film industry with ''Mel Karade Rabba'' with the cast Jimmy Shergill, Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa, which went on to become the biggest Punjabi hit of that time. Monica Gill is an American model, actress, beauty pageant title holder. Gill won the Miss India Worldwide 2014 on 21 June 2014. She is also Miss India USA winner on 26 November 2013 while serving as Miss India New England. In 2015, she participated in MTV India show ''India's Next Top Model''.
