Amazing Greys
''Amazing Greys'' is a British game show that aired on ITV, co-hosted by Paddy McGuinness and Angela Rippon. It was aired from 12 April to 17 May 2014 and ran for six episodes. Production A pilot episode was recorded at Fountain Studios in Wembley on 19 September 2013 and presented solely by McGuinness. However, when the first series began filming, Rippon joined as his co-host. Elizabeth Horrocks
Elizabeth Horrocks (born 3 May 1946) is an author and winner of the BBC quiz series ''Mastermind''. Biography Horrocks attended Whitchurch Grammar School in Cardiff, a school also attended by fellow writer Andrew Davies. She then graduated from Bristol University in 1967, after which she went on to have a teaching career. William Ralph Johnson (born 3 June 1948) is a retired British international fencer. Fencing career He competed at the 1968, 1972, 1976 and 1984 Summer Olympics. John Lowe (darts Player)
John Lowe (born 21 July 1945) is an English former professional darts player. Along with Eric Bristow and Jocky Wilson, he was known for dominating darts during the 1980s. Lowe was world champion on three occasions, in 1979, 1987 and 1993. He was also a two-time winner of the Winmau World Masters and a two-time World Cup singles champion. In total, Lowe won 15 BDO and WDF majors. He held the World No. 1 ranking on four occasions. In October 1984, he became the first player to hit a televised nine-dart finish. Lowe is one of only six players to have won the World Championship three or more times, and was the first person to win it in three separate decades; along with Phil Taylor, he remains one of only two players to achieve this. Mary Peters (athlete)
Lady Mary Elizabeth Peters, (born 6 July 1939) is a Northern Irish former athlete, best known as a competitor in the pentathlon and shot put. Peters was named as Lady Companion of the Order of the Garter on 27 February 2019. She was installed in St. George's Chapel, the chapel of the Order, on Garter Day, 17 June. Early life and education Peters was born in Halewood, Lancashire, but moved to Ballymena (and later Belfast) at age eleven when her father's job was relocated to Northern Ireland. David Hamilton (born 10 September 1938) is an English radio and television presenter. Since his broadcasting career began in 1959, Hamilton has hosted over 12,000 radio shows and more than 1,000 TV shows. He is usually known as 'Diddy David Hamilton', a name given to him by the comedian Ken Dodd. Geoff Hurst
Sir Geoffrey Charles Hurst (born 8 December 1941) is an English former professional footballer. A striker, he became the first man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final when England recorded a 4–2 victory over West Germany at Wembley Stadium in 1966. Hurst began his career with West Ham United, where he scored 242 goals in 500 first team appearances. There he won the FA Cup in 1964 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1965. He was sold to Stoke City in 1972 for £80,000. After three seasons with Stoke, where he won the Watney Cup in 1973, he finished his Football League career with West Bromwich Albion in 1976.
