Nika Amashukeli
Nika Amashukeli ( ka, ნიკა ამაშუკელი) is a Georgian rugby union and World Rugby elite referee. Background In his early youth Nika Amashukeli played soccer. Nika watched his first ever full rugby match on TV during the 2007 Rugby World Cup, when his father "literally forced" him to watch Ireland v Georgia. Nika started playing rugby for Jiki at the age of 11. He played as a flanker then inside centre, and as an outside centre for Georgia at U17, U18 and U19 levels. He was selected for Georgia U18 team for 2012 European Under-18 Rugby Union Championship. By the age of 20 he had already suffered 5 concussions. He’d also broken an ankle, and there was a knee problem. Head injuries affected his mental health at that time; eventually he decided to retire from playing. Vasil Amashukeli
Vasil Amashukeli ( ka, ვასილ ამაშუკელი) (March 14, 1886 in Kutaisi – December 1, 1977 in Tbilisi) was an early Georgia (country), Georgian film director and cinematographer who worked in the Cinema of Azerbaijan and Cinema of Georgia, Georgia. He studied at Vasil Tamarashvili Art School in Kutaisi. In 1908 he graduated from Moscow division courses of French film firm “Gomon”. Amashukeli is the first Georgian documentary director. In 1907 Amashukeli working in Baku made several films of oil production in the capital including the extracting process. His films included ''Bakı Bazarlarının Tipləri'' (Types of Bakuvian Bazaars - short documentary), ''Daş Kömür Daşınması'' (Transportation of Coal), ''Dəniz kənarında gəzinti'' (Seaside Walk), ''Neft buruqlarında iş'' (Work at Oil Derricks), and ''Neftin çıxarılması'' (Oil Extraction (film), Oil Extraction) all filmed in 1907. Elguja Amashukeli
Elguja Amashukeli (Georgian: ელგუჯა დავითის ძე ამაშუკელი; 22 April 1928 – 10 March 2002) was a Georgian sculptor and painter. From 1981 to 1996 he was the chairman of the Georgian Association of Visual Artists. Life Elguja Amashukeli graduated from the ''Tbilisi State Academy of Arts'' in 1955. Since 1996 he has been a corresponding member of the Department of Linguistics and Literature of the ''Georgian Academy of Sciences''. In 1985 he became a member of the Soviet Academy of Arts. He designed subway stations, created memorials and monuments in Georgia. Elguja Amashukeli died on March 10, 2002, and is buried in the ''Didube Pantheon'' Cemetery in Tbilisi.Elgudscha Amaschukeli
