Amar Kumar Bauri
Amar Kumar Bauri (born 1978) is an Indian politician and the current leader of the opposition in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He is the member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was Minister of Jharkhand. Earlier he was associated with Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) led by Babulal Marandi till Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha election in 2014. He is member of Jharkhand legislative assembly from Chandankiyari constituency which is reserved for scheduled castes in Bokaro District. Early life He was born in year 1978 to Ram Nath Bauri. He passed matriculation from R.D. Tata High School Jamshedpur in 1994, Inter from Co-operative College Jamshedpur in 1997, completed graduation from same Jamshedpur Cooperative College and post graduate in history from Ranchi University in 2005. The 2014 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election (Hindi: झारखण्ड विधानसभा चुनाव) was held in five phases between November 25 and December 20 to elect the members of the 4th Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The results were announced on December 23, 2014. All Jharkhand Students Union or AJSU PARTY is a state political party of Jharkhand state, India. AJSU PARTY was founded on June 22, 1986, modelled after All Assam Students Union. The founders of AJSU were disillusioned with the previous political parties of Jharkhand and wanted more militant agitations. AJSU organized general strikes and a campaign to boycott the Lok Sabha elections in 1989. By 1990 however, AJSU had taken a more pragmatic line and had candidates for the Bihar state assembly election on the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha symbol. Today, AJSU contests elections under its own name.
