Amānullāh Khān
Ghazi Amanullah Khan (Pashto and Dari: ; 1 June 1892 – 25 April 1960) was the sovereign of Afghanistan from 1919, first as Emir and after 1926 as King, until his abdication in 1929. After the end of the Third Anglo-Afghan War in August 1919, Afghanistan was able to relinquish its protected state status to proclaim independence and pursue an independent foreign policy free from the influence of the United Kingdom. His rule was marked by dramatic political and social change, including attempts to modernise Afghanistan along Western lines. He did not fully succeed in achieving this objective due to an uprising by Habibullah Kalakani and his followers. On 14 January 1929, Amanullah abdicated and fled to neighbouring British India as the Afghan Civil War (1928–1929), Afghan Civil War began to escalate. Amanullah Jahanbani
Amanollah Jahanbani ( fa, امان ‌الله جهانبانى; 1891 – 1 February 1974) was a member of the Qajar dynasty and a senior general of Reza Shah Pahlavi. Early life and education Jahanbani was born in 1895. He was the great grandson of Fath Ali Shah. At the age of 10, Jahānbāni was sent to St. Petersburg for schooling, where he attended the Mihailovsky Artillery College and the Nikolaevsky War Academy. He returned to Iran as a ranked military officer in World War I. He furthermore served in the Persian Cossack Brigade and was a pivotal figure in the 1921 Persian coup d'état. Career After completing his studies in Europe, Jahanbani joined Cossack forces and became a major general. On January 16, 2010, the United States Department of Defense complied with a court order and made public a heavily redacted list of the detainees held in the Bagram Theater Internment Facility. Detainees were initially held in primitive, temporary quarters, in what was originally called the Bagram Collection Point, from late 2001. Detainees were later moved to an indoor detention center until late 2009, when newly constructed facilities were opened. The identity of most detainees held in Bagram remained classified until the publication of the first list in January 2010. Dozens of the names on the list are identical to names of detainees who had been held in the Guantanamo Bay detention camps, in Cuba. Amanullah Khan Niazi
Amanullah Khan Niazi (14 March 1959 – 15 June 2006) was a senior jail officer (Superintendent) of Central Prison Karachi. He served in the prison department for more than 20 years. on 15 June 2006, Niazi was ambushed along with six of his associates in Saddar, allegedly by Ubaid Khursheed alias K2. He was killed as martyrs, because of being reluctant to facilitate inmates belonging to a political party (not let the women visiting them in jail stay beyond visiting hours), including death row inmate Saulat Mirza, Nadir Shah and Leader Saeed alias Bharam.
