Amanda Budden
Amanda Margaret Budden (born 9 May 1994) is an Irish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Shamrock Rovers and has appeared for the Republic of Ireland women's national team. Club career Budden is from Cork and began her soccer career with Wilton United. On 27 July 2008, she won the FAI Women's Under-14 National Cup, playing (outfield) in the final against Longford Town. On 7 August 2011, she kept goal in the FAI Women's Cup final, as Wilton United were defeated 3–1 by St Catherine's. She joined newly-founded Cork Women's, one of the six teams that competed in the Women's National League's (WNL) inaugural 2011–12 season. On 13 November 2011, she made her debut in the new club's first league match; a 6–1 defeat by Peamount United. UCD Waves
UCD Women's Soccer Club is an Irish association football club based in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown. It is the women's association football team of University College Dublin. Founded in 1966, UCD are one of the oldest women's football clubs in the Republic of Ireland. Like the UCD men's team, the women's football team has competed in national competitions, such as the FAI Women's Cup and the Women's National League, as well as intervarsity competitions. UCD has also represented the Republic of Ireland in the UEFA Women's Cup. The 2021 Women's National League, known as the SSE Airtricity WNL for sponsorship reasons, is the 11th season of the Women's National League, the highest women's association football league in the Republic of Ireland since its establishment in 2011. Peamount United were the defending champions, having won their third league title the previous season. Galway Bay FM is an Irish independent local radio station and operates under a licence from the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland. In professional football, a transfer is the action taken whenever a player under contract moves between clubs. It refers to the transferring of a player's registration from one association football club to another. In general, the players can only be transferred during a transfer window and according to the rules set by a governing body (fulfilling the requirements of FIFA, continental and national bodies regulating the purchasing and selling clubs). A negotiated transfer fee is agreed financial compensation paid from an interested club, to the club that possesses the player's exclusive contracted playing rights.
