Amagaju Football Club is an association football club from Nyamagabe District Southern Province, Rwanda. The team currently competes in the Rwanda National Football League, and plays its home games at the Stade de Nyamagabe known as Nyagisenyi.professional football club based in Nyamagabe District. Formed in 1935, the club plays its home games at the Nyagisenyi Stadium. Their home colors are yellow and blue. Stade Ya Nyamagabe (Nyagisenyi)
Stade (), officially the Hanseatic City of Stade (german: Hansestadt Stade, nds, Hansestadt Stood) is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. First mentioned in records in 934, it is the seat of the district () which bears its name. It is located roughly to the west of Hamburg and belongs to that city's wider metropolitan region. Within the area of the city are the urban districts of Bützfleth, Hagen, Haddorf and Wiepenkathen, each of which have a council () of their own with some autonomous decision-making rights. Gikongoro
Gikongoro is a city in Nyamagabe district, Southern Province, Rwanda Rwanda (; rw, u Rwanda ), officially the Republic of Rwanda, is a landlocked country in the Great Rift Valley of Central Africa, where the African Great Lakes region and Southeast Africa converge. Gikongoro province was founded by the newly independent Rwandan state shortly after it gained freedom from Belgium in 1962. It was designed to undermine control of the Tutsi who had a stronghold in nearby Nyanza. Before the genocide in 1993, Gikongo city had a population of under 10,000. Human Rights Watch has described Gikongoro town and province at the time of the genocide as "largely incoherent." Nyamagabe District Southern Province
Nyamagabe is a district (''akarere'') in Southern Province, Rwanda. Its capital is Gasaka. Geography, flora and fauna The district lies between Butare and Cyangugu in the south-west of Rwanda, and contains much of the former Gikongoro Province, which was disbanded in 2006. It also contains the eastern half of Nyungwe Forest, a popular tourist destination, being one of the last remaining forest areas of Rwanda and home to chimpanzees and many other species of primate. The Rwanda Premier League is the highest division of football in Rwanda. The league was formed in 1975. It was known as the Primus National Football League in 2004 and from 2009–10 to 2012–13, after which sponsorship was taken over by Turbo King. The league was renamed the Azam Rwanda Premier League for the 2015–16 season after Tanzanian television broadcasters Azam TV were announced as sponsors in a deal worth US$ 2.35 million covering five years.
