Saint Amator
Amator Amadour or Amatre was bishop of Auxerre from 388 until his death on 1 May 418 and venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church. Amator's feast day is celebrated on 1 May. Amator of Auxerre Amator studied theology under Valerian, Bishop of Auxerre, but married a holy woman of Langres, venerated locally as Saint Martha, in order to please his parents. After their wedding, they mutually agreed to live together as brother and sister. By mutual consent, Martha subsequently became a nun and Amator received the clerical tonsure. He later succeeded Eladius as Bishop of Auxerre in 388 and governed the see until his death 30 years later. During this 30-year episcopacy, he built two churches and converted the remaining pagans in his diocese. He introduced the relics of Saint Cyricus into France, thus propagating this saint's cult. Amador Lugo Guadarrama (April 12, 1921 – June 26, 2002) was a Mexican painter, graphic artist, writer and cultural promoter, best known for his landscape painting and the founding of several cultural institutions. He began painting when still a child, attending the Escuela al Aire Libre de Pintura in Taxco then developing his career in Mexico City. At that time, the Mexican muralism school was still dominant. Lugo related to its aesthetics but not so much to its politics, so he participated in the founding of various institutions such as the Sociedad Mexicana de Grabadores and the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana which provided opportunities for artists outside the dominant movement. Amador Bueno (c. 1584 – c. 1649) was a landowner and colonial administrator of the Captaincy of São Vicente ( Colonial Brazil). Bueno was born around 1584 in the city of São Paulo, Captaincy of São Vicente which is now the State of São Paulo in Brazil. He was born to Bartolomeu Bueno da Ribeira, a Galician settler from Ourense and Maria Pires, from São Paulo, daughter of Salvador Pires and Mécia Fernandes. Amador held several public office posts through royal appointment and elections. Since 1580, the Kingdom of Portugal was in a dynastic union with the Kingdom of Spain, up until 1640, when the Portuguese acclaimed John IV of Portugal as the new king. Amador Jacobo Bendayán Bendayán en-dah-IAN(November 11, 1920 – August 8, 1989) was a Venezuelan actor and entertainer. Biography The son of Moroccan Jewish immigrants, Bendayán was born in Villa de Cura, Aragua, and was raised and educated in Caracas. He started his career in radio in 1937 as an announcer and comedian. Bendayán gained a huge popularity for his comedies ''El Bachiller y Bartolo'' (1949–59) and ''La Bodega de la Esquina'' (1950–1960), and when it went from radio to television, his popularity –and his audience– continued to grow. Ryan Amador (born ) is an American singer-songwriter and LGBT rights advocate. Early life and education Amador began recording demos of original songs in Hollywood at the age of 12. He acted in musicals while in school. He graduated from New York University in 2011 with a degree in drama. Career Amador released his first EP ''Symptoms of a Wide Eyed Being'' which was produced by Justin Goldner and Shaina Taub. He went on tour though Chicago in 2012.
