Carlos Eduardo Alzate Escobar (born March 23, 1983 in Tuluá, Valle del Cauca) is a Colombian professional track and road racing cyclist from Colombia, who most recently rode for the team. He won a silver medal for his native country at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil alongside Juan Pablo Forero, Arles Castro and Jairo Pérez in the Men's Track Team Pursuit. He competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, PR China. José Luis Serna Alzate (17 February 193628 September 2014) was a Catholic Church bishop. Born in the Second Spanish Republic town of Aranzazu on 17 February 1936, José Luis Serna Alzate was ordained a Catholic priest on 23 December 1961. On 15 November 1978, Serna Alzate was appointed as both the vicar apostolic of Florencia, Caquetá in Colombia, as well as the titular bishop of Cartennae.
