Oxford Brookes University
Oxford Brookes University (formerly known as Oxford Polytechnic (United Kingdom), Polytechnic) is a public university, public university in Oxford, England. It is a new university, having received university status through the Further and Higher Education Act 1992. The university was named after its first principal, John Henry Brookes, who played a major role in the development of the institution. Oxford Brookes University is spread across four campuses, with three primary sites based in and around Oxford and the fourth campus located in Swindon. Duncan Bradshaw
Duncan Phillip Bradshaw (born 19 February 1986) is an English cricketer. Bradshaw is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He was born in the Zimbabwean capital of Harare into a White Zimbabwean family of British descent and educated at Hilton College in South Africa, before moving with his family to England. While studying for his degree at Oxford Brookes University Business School, Bradshaw made his debut in first-class cricket for Oxford UCCE against Derbyshire in 2006. He played for Oxford UCCE in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Following the teams renaming to Oxford MCCU, he continued to play for team in 2009 and 2010, making a total of twelve first-class appearances. Robert Neil Evans is a Welsh scriptwriter and actor. Career In 2010, a series of thirteen 30-minute episodes of Evans's sitcom, ''Sadie J'', was commissioned by the children's channel CBBC. Series one of ''Sadie J'' began transmitting on 14 January 2011 on the CBBC Channel. Series two started on 25 January 2012, also on CBBC. Series three was commissioned shortly afterwards and began transmitting in January 2013, for a total of 39 episodes. Chief Constance Afiong "Afi" Ekong, Lady Attah (26 June 1930 – 24 February 2009) was a Nigerian artist and arts promoter. Edward James McKenzie Cowan (born 16 June 1982) is an Australian former cricketer, who played domestically mainly for New South Wales and Tasmania as a left handed opening batsman. In March 2018, he announced his retirement from first-class cricket. Domestic career Cowan attended Tudor House School in Moss Vale and Cranbrook School in Bellevue Hill where he played in the school 1st XI aged only 14, and scored 218 not out, and went on to the under-17 New South Wales championships. Paul Terence Conneally (born 1959 in Sheffield, United Kingdom) is a poet, artist and musician based in Loughborough, UK. Poetry and art In the field of poetry Conneally is best known for his haiku and haiku-related forms including haibun and renga/renku. His definition of haibun is quoted among others on the ''Contemporary Haibun Online'' website. He ran the Haikumania Project, (hosted on the website of The Center for Digital Discourse and Culture at Virginia Tech) where some of his work and others is showcased. Richard Chambers (rower)
Richard Scott Chambers (born 10 June 1985) is a British rower, and is the brother of fellow rower Peter Chambers. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he was part of the British crew that won the silver medal in the lightweight men's four. Biography Richard began rowing at the age of 14, at Coleraine Academical Institution, under the coaching of Bobby Platt. He later left Coleraine Inst and joined Bann Rowing Club Coleraine at the age of 16, and went on to represent Ireland in the junior pair at the 2003 Home Internationals in Cork with Stephen Feeney, under the coaching of Simon Hamilton (Bann Rowing Club).
