Altzomoni
Altzomoni is a volcanic peak located in the State of Mexico. Situated between the volcanoes Popocatépetl and Ixtaccíhuatl in the northern portion of the Paso de Cortés, Altzomoni rises above sea level. It is located inside Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park. The area is used as a base for those climbing Ixtaccíhuatl. It also is recognizable for its large television tower, used by Televisa for the transmission of analog television to Puebla and Cuernavaca. The Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México also maintains an atmospheric observatory on the mountain. Television Three digital television stations are based on the same tower. Canal 5 is a Mexican free-to-air television network owned by TelevisaUnivision. It traces its origins to the foundation of Channel 5 in Mexico City in 1952 (also known by its identification code XHGC-TDT). Grupo Televisa is a Mexican multimedia mass media company. A major Latin American mass media corporation, it often presents itself as the largest producer of Spanish-language content. Nueve (English: Nine) (stylized Nu9ve) is a Mexican free-to-air television network owned by TelevisaUnivision. The primary station and network namesake is Channel 9 of Mexico City (also known by its call sign XEQ-TDT), though the network has nationwide coverage on Televisa stations and some affiliates. Popocatépetl
Popocatépetl (; Nahuatl: ) is an active stratovolcano located in the states of Puebla, Morelos, and Mexico in central Mexico. It lies in the eastern half of the Trans-Mexican volcanic belt. At it is the second highest peak in Mexico, after Citlaltépetl (Pico de Orizaba) at . It is linked to the twin volcano of Iztaccihuatl to the north by the high saddle known as the "Paso de Cortés". Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park, wherein the two volcanoes are located, is named after them. Cuernavaca (; nci-IPA, Cuauhnāhuac, kʷawˈnaːwak "near the woods", ) is the capital and largest city of the state of Morelos in Mexico.
