Altuna Runestone
The Altuna Runestone (''Altunastenen''), listed as U 1161 in the Rundata catalog, is a Viking Age memorial runestone with images from Norse mythology that is located in Altuna, Uppland, Sweden. Description The Altuna Runestone is a granite stone in height that was discovered in 1918 by a local historian in the wall of a chapel located near its current location. Before the historical significance of runestones was recognized, they were often used as materials in the construction of roads, bridges, walls, and buildings. It is one of few surviving runestones with exclusively Norse paganism, pagan illustrations from Norse mythology. Most surviving runestones were raised during the 11th century after the Christianization of Scandinavia, Christianization of Sweden, and they were raised by people who wanted to show that they too adhered to the new faith, at least outwardly so, due to the fact that at least half of the runestones have inscriptions related to Christianity. Altuna Sejdiu ( mk, Алтуна Сејдиу; ; born 14 July 1985), also known professionally as Tuna ( mk, Туна), is a Macedonian-Albanian singer and songwriter. Life and career Altuna Sejdiu was born on 14 July 1985 into an Albanian family in the city of Skopje, then part of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia, present North Macedonia. Her father, Shaban Sejdiu, is a freestyle wrestler and two-time Olympic bronze medal winner. Tuna discovered her passion for music at an early age participating in various music festivals. Her professional career began in 2002 when she competed in the talent search competition ''Play - Search For A Star'' organized by the Macedonian record label M2 Production. Sejdiu was one of two winners from the competition, which resulted in the release of her first single "Najdi den, najdi nokj, najdi vreme" (Find a day, Find a night, Find time). Fernando Bengoetxea Altuna
Fernando Bengoetxea Altuna (1764–1823), commonly known as Pernando Amezketarra or—not so often—Fernando Amezketarra, was a bertsolari and humorist in the Basque region of Spain. He was born in the village of Amezketa (Gipuzkoa), specifically in the farm named Espizaltxe, on October 10, 1764. Since he was a child he was known for his wit. He became an indispensable character in every celebration. He worked as a shepherd, as most people in his village in those days. He married Maria Joxepa Sagastume, and they had 9 children, while they lived in Ixpille and Azentzin Txikia farms where he died. He was honoured in many occasions. His anecdotes were collected and published by Gregorio de Mújica under the title of ''Pernando Amezketarra'', a successful book many times reissued. Horacio Altuna (born November 24, 1941) is an Argentine comics artist. Biography Altuna was born in Córdoba. He began working in the comics world in 1965 for the publisher Editorial Columbia. His first characters were Titan, a Superman-like superhero, Kabul de Bengala (1971, written by Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Armando Fernández among others), Big Norman, Hilario Corvalán and others. From 1973 to 1976, Altuna collaborated with Fleetway, Ediciones Record, Charlton Comics, ''Playboy'' and the French Les Humanoïdes Associés.
