Altina Railway Station
The Altina railway station is a railway stop that serves the Altina neighborhood of Zemun, Serbia. It is located on railway line 101/105, between and railway stations. Along with the nearby train stop, the Altina stop was constructed as part of the Belgrade–Novi Sad railway reconstruction of 2019–2022. It is served by BG Voz urban rail trains. Layout The stop has two side platforms, each 110 meters long, serving two tracks that are some 50 meters apart. Between them runs a service track leading to the nearby Zemun marshalling yard. The platforms are connected by an underground passageway. Services and access The stop has free parking lots and bicycle racks outside both platforms. Elevator shafts have been constructed but the elevators were not put in use as of April 2022. The stop features an automated public address system and information in Braille on hand railings. Braille
Braille (Pronounced: ) is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired, including people who are Blindness, blind, Deafblindness, deafblind or who have low vision. It can be read either on Paper embossing, embossed paper or by using refreshable braille displays that connect to computers and smartphone devices. Altina, Belgrade
Altina ( sr-cyr, Алтина) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Located in the Belgrade's municipality of Zemun, it is one of the newest and fastest growing parts of the city. Location Altina is located just out of the north-western section of the Belgrade City urban proper (''uža teritorija grada''), 11 kilometers west of downtown Belgrade. Zemun
Zemun ( sr-cyrl, Земун, ; hu, Zimony) is a municipality in the city of Belgrade. Zemun was a separate town that was absorbed into Belgrade in 1934. It lies on the right bank of the Danube river, upstream from downtown Belgrade. The development of New Belgrade in the late 20th century expanded the continuous urban area of Belgrade and merged it with Zemun. The town was conquered by the Kingdom of Hungary in the 12th century and in the 15th century it was given as a personal possession to the Serbian despot Đurađ Branković. BG Voz
BG VOZ ( sr-Cyrl, БГ ВОЗ; stylized as BG:VOZ, sr-Cyrl, БГ:ВОЗ) is an urban rail system that serves the city of Belgrade, Serbia. It is operated by the public transit corporation GSP Belgrade and is a part of the integrated BusPlus system. Lines in service Line 1 BG:Voz began service between New Belgrade and Pančevo Bridge stations on September 1, 2010. Starting from April 15, 2011, the line has been extended westward to Batajnica.
