Alten8
Alten8 Ltd. was a British video game developer and video game publisher, publisher. It produced both licensed retro games and current format video games, including the emulation code for Commodore 64, C64 titles on Nintendo's Virtual Console service. Alten8 ceased trading in December 2010. History The company was formed by Paul Andrews after his involvement with the website Retro-Trader, which led him to be commissioned to gather retro game licenses for a plug-into-TV video game console using games such as ''Ant Attack'' (originally on the ZX Spectrum). When this was never realised he formed Alten8 to make use of the gathered licenses and expanded its remit, gaining Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Wii and Xbox 360 developer status. Eternity's Child
''Eternity's Child'' (previously known as ''Angel's Eternity'') is a Side-scrolling video game, side-scrolling platform game based on a fairy tale created by Luc Bernard. It was released by Luc Bernard and Silver Sphere Studios on Steam (service), Steam July 31, 2008. Gameplay The gameplay involves the player controlling two characters simultaneously. In the Wii version, one will be controlled with the analogue stick of the Nunchuk and the other with the pointer function of the Wii Remote. Development ''Eternity's Child'' was initially developed for Xbox Live Arcade, and was one of the first games to be made with the Microsoft XNA, XNA toolset. On September 9, 2007, it was revealed that it was changed to a retail Nintendo DS game as well as a downloadable WiiWare game. The (GBA) is a 32-bit handheld game console developed, manufactured and marketed by Nintendo as the successor to the Game Boy Color. It was released in Japan on March 21, 2001, in North America on June 11, 2001, in the PAL region on June 22, 2001, and in mainland China as iQue Game Boy Advance on June 8, 2004. Animal Magic (TV Series)
''Animal Magic'' is a BBC children's television series which ran from 1962 to 1983 from BBC Bristol. It began fortnightly and was transmitted weekly from 1964. The presenter was Johnny Morris. The show combined jovial voiceovers applied to various animals from Bristol Zoo with some basic educational features. Morris' co-presenters over the years were Gerald Durrell, Tony Soper, Keith Shackleton, Roger Tabor, Sheila Young, David Taylor and Terry Nutkins. When Nutkins joined the show in the early 1980s, the producers tried to update it, using new video effects technology. This allowed them to do such things as "shrink" the presenters to allow them to see life from an ant's viewpoint, or to swim in a riverbed for example. Ernest John Morris OBE (20 June 1916 – 6 May 1999) was a Welsh television presenter. He was known for his children's programmes for the BBC on the topic of zoology, most notably '' Animal Magic'', and for narrating the ''Tales of the Riverbank'' series of stories.
