Henry Stone
Henry Stone (June 3, 1921 – August 7, 2014), born Henry David Epstein, was an American record company executive and producer whose career spanned the era from R&B in the early 1950s through the disco boom of the 1970s to the 2010s. He was best known as co-owner and president of TK Records, but reportedly set up more than 100 record labels, and generated more than $100 million in record sales across the world. Stone was described as "an acute businessman who always made sure that contracts and publishing agreements were written in his favor." Steve Alaimo
Charles Stephen Alaimo ( born December 6, 1939) is an American singer who was a teen idol in the early 1960s. He later became record producer and label owner, but he is perhaps best known for hosting and co-producing Dick Clark's ''Where the Action Is'' in the late 1960s. He had nine singles chart in the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 without once reaching the Top 40 in his career, the most by any artist. Early years and the Redcoats Alaimo was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Rochester, New York, at the age of five. The Beginning of the End was a funk group from Nassau, Bahamas. The group formed in 1969 and consisted of three brothers (Frank, Raphael "Ray", and Roy Munnings), a fourth member on bass (Fred Henfield), and a fifth on guitar (Livingston Colebrook). They were complemented by the Funky Nassau Horns. Jimmie Horace Horne, Jr. (born September 28, 1949, West Palm Beach, Florida, United States), known as Jimmy "Bo" Horne, is an American musician, singer and recording artist, whose most successful singles include "Gimme Some" (1975) and "Dance Across the Floor" (1978). Clarence Henry Reid (February 14, 1939 – January 17, 2016) was an American musician, songwriter and producer also known by the stage name and alternate persona Blowfly. He released over 25 parody albums as Blowfly and another three albums as Clarence Reid. Biography Reid was born in Cochran, Georgia, in 1939 and moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, in his adolescence (c. 1949). His stage name was given to him by his grandmother who he would visit in Georgia occasionally. During this time, Reid would make explicit parodies of the country music that was popular on the airwaves in Cochran then, prompting his grandmother to brand him a " blowfly".
