Alpines
Alpines is a British duo based in Kingston upon Thames in South London, made up of Bob Matthews (guitar and production) and Catherine Pockson (pianist, singer and songwriter). Since forming in 2010, the band has toured and supported The Naked and Famous, Emeli Sandé and Florence and the Machine at the Alexandra Palace on 10 March 2012. Alpines released their debut album, ''Oasis'' on 26 May 2014 and their second album, ''Another River'' on 28 October 2016. Their third album, ''Full Bloom'' was released on their own record label Untrue Records, on 16 November 2018. "Tidal Wave" is the third single by British DJ and record producer Sub Focus to be released from his second studio album ''Torus''. The song features vocals from Alpines. The song peaked at number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and number four on the UK Dance Chart, making it his highest-charting single until "Endorphins" and " Turn Back Time", which both peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. Cyrus Mahboubian (1986, London, UK) is a British artist and photographer. He is based in London. Work Mahboubian has received attention for his use of analogue materials, especially polaroid. He has been invited to teach and speak on the subject of analogue photography at venues such as Tate Britain and The Photographers' Gallery. Maya Jane Coles is a British music producer, audio engineer and DJ, born in London. Under her real name, she mostly composes and plays house and techno music, while her alias Nocturnal Sunshine creates darker, more bass-driven productions with a heavy hip-hop and dub influence. Nicolaas Douwma (born 13 April 1982), better known by his stage name Sub Focus, is an English DJ, music producer, songwriter and sound engineer. He has been releasing records since 2003. Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live.
