Alpha Motor Corporation (commonly known as Alpha) is an American electric vehicle company based in Irvine, California. History Alpha Motor Corporation was founded in 2020 by Edward Lee. Prior to founding Alpha, Lee has worked at several automotive companies, including Toyota—where he designed the 2012 Lexus LF-LC concept, Audi, and the short-lived EV startup company Neuron Corporation—where he was signed as an executive at. Alpha teased its first vehicle, the Icon electric commercial vehicle, on December 2, 2020. The Icon was never officially unveiled, however. It is open to the public for ten days each year, filling of exhibit space. The show begins with AutoMobility LA, a several day press showing. History The Los Angeles Auto Show began in 1907 with ninety-nine vehicles on display at Morley's Skating Rink. In 1910, the event was held under a canvas big top at Fiesta Park. As the auto industry grew, the auto show changed venues four times throughout the 1920s to accommodate the growing needs of vendors. In 1926, it took place at the corner of Hill and Washington where it stayed for the next four years. KC HiLiTES, Inc is a manufacturer of off-road lighting based in Williams, Arizona. History The company was founded in 1970 in Saugus, California by Peter Kim Brown and his wife Carol Brown, and named using their initials. They were spurred to start the company when Peter began using landing lights from aircraft adapted to fit his truck, and realized that the way they were mounted would not stand up to the rigors of use of the off-road community of race buggies and pickups. Available lighting at the time was limited to 55-watt halogen lamps that were in Brown's words, "really disappointing in the desert".
