Alona Rodeh
Alona Rodeh ( he, אלונה רודה) is a visual artist. Her work spans a variety of media including sculpture, video, immersive installations using light and sound, photography, and publishing. Biography Born and raised in Israel, Rodeh received her BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem in 2003, and participated in the BFA exchange program of the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. She completed her MFA at the Tel Aviv campus of Bezalel in 2009, spending a semester at the Sculpture Department of the Royal College of Art, London. Rodeh lives and works in Berlin. Work Expanding on sculpture, and applying her experience as a set designer for theater, Rodeh has created large-scale, often room-spanning installations. She combines light, movement, and sound in a manner she describes as ''performance without performers'', delivering time-based experiences. Petah Tikva Museum Of Art
The Petah Tikva Museum of Art is an art museum in Arlozorov Street, Petah Tikva, Israel. History The museum is part of Petah Tikva's Museum Complex. Most of the art at the museum (roughly 3188 items) is art in memory and perpetuation of others, and were collected by Yad Labanim. The building originally opened in 1952, and was the first of its kind in Israel, and the museum itself opened in 1964. Between 1987 and 1993, the museum's director was Dalia Levin. In 2004, the building was reopened after renovation of the building and cataloging the collection of artwork. At the time, Drorit Gur Arye had become the director of the museum. The museum is divided into a changing exhibition hall, and a smaller gallery, which presents an exhibition of the museum's collections. The Berlin Fire Brigade (german: Berliner Feuerwehr) is the fire and rescue service for Berlin, Germany. MARTa Herford is a contemporary art museum in Herford, Germany. Building and history The idea for the museum formed in 2000, drawing from Herford's status as a German center of furniture and home furnishing production.
