Alon Abutbul
Alon Moni Abutbul (or Aboutboul, he, אלון מוני אבוטבול; born 28 May 1965) is an Israeli actor. He won the IFFI Best Actor Award (Male) at the 44th International Film Festival of India. Early life Abutbul was born in Kiryat Ata, Israel, to a Mizrahi Jewish family from Egypt and Algeria. He attended the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts in Givatayim. His older brother is Avraham Abutbul. Cinematic career 1980s After graduating from the Thelma Yellin High School in 1983 Abutbul appeared in the Israeli film ''Hapnimiyah''. In 1985 Abutbul starred in the film '' Bar 51'' directed by Amos Guttman alongside Mosko Alkalai and Smadar Kilchinsky, and took part in the Israeli film ''Battle of the Chairmanship'' in which he played alongside the popular Israeli comedy group HaGashash HaHiver. Kiryat Ata ( he, קִרְיַת אָתָא; also Qiryat Ata) is a city in the Haifa District of Israel. In it had a population of , 92% of whom were Jewish citizens. Menahem Golan
Menahem Golan ( he, מנחם גולן; May 31, 1929 – August 8, 2014, originally Menachem Globus) was an Israeli film producer, screenwriter, and director. He was best known for co-owning The Cannon Group with his cousin Yoram Globus. Cannon specialized in producing low-to-mid-budget American films, primarily genre films, during the 1980s after Golan and Globus had achieved significant filmmaking success in their native Israel during the 1970s. Deadly Heroes
''Deadly Heroes'' is a direct-to-video 1993 action film starring Michael Paré, Jan-Michael Vincent and Billy Drago. Its leading hero Brad Cartowski (Paré) is a former Navy SEAL who must save his kidnapped wife. Directed by Menahem Golan, ''Deadly Heroes'' is notable for being one of the last films released under Golan's 21st Century Film Corporation banner. The company went bankrupt shortly thereafter. The filming obviously occurred on a small budget. The film's primary filming location was in Israel. To cut costs director Golan used many of the chase scenes from his 1991 release '' Killing Streets'' (also starring Paré). Avi Toledano
Avi Toledano ( he, אבי טולדנו; born April 4, 1948) is an Israeli singer and songwriter. Biography Avraham ("Avi") Toledano was born in Meknes, Morocco to a Jewish family. At the age of 5, the family relocated to Casablanca, where Toledano attended the Alliance Israélite Universelle. During his teenage years, he was involved in Labour Zionist youth movement Hashomer Hatzair, which was illegal in Morocco at the time. In 1965, at the age of 16, he immigrated to Israel with other members of Hashomer Hatzair, and settled in Kibbutz Ruhama in the Negev.
