Almir Čehajić
Almir Čehajić, also known as Batko, is a Bosnian talk show host and actor. He is the host of the radio programme ''Udri muški'' which encourages viewers to donate money to help the programme's guests fund medical procedures. Formerly a dentist, Čehajić was inspired to start the programme when his daughter died because he did not have the funds for her heart surgery. He decided to start ''Udri muški'' to help other people in the same situation. Since its debut in 1999, ''Udri muški'' has funded medical treatment and provided financial assistance for over 8,000 people. In 2010, Čehajić was awarded the Humanitarian Award from the International League of Humanists in recognition of his efforts. As an actor, Čehajić has appeared in the television series ''Lud, zbunjen, normalan'' and Pjer Žalica's film ''Fuse''. SIPA arrested him in October 2020 as he was accused of money laundering. International League of Humanists (ILH) is a non-profit international association of eminent humanists. Its headquarters are in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and its primary objective is promotion of worldwide peace and human rights. Its current president is Sonja Stiegelbauer. Pjer Žalica
Pjer Žalica (born 7 May 1964 in Sarajevo) is a Bosnians, Bosnian film director, screenwriter and a professor at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. His father Miodrag (1926–1992) was a noted dramaturgist and poet who scripted several TV movies. He has directed several short films, only one of which is (''Mostar Sevdah Reunion'' 2000) as well as three feature films, ''Fuse (film), Gori vatra'' (2003), and ''Days and Hours, Kod amidže Idriza'' (2004). ''Fuse'' ( bs, Gori vatra, "The Fire is Burning") is a Bosnian comedy/drama film directed by Pjer Žalica. It was released in 2003. Synopsis The plot takes place in the small town of Tešanj in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, two years after the Bosnian War. The town is overridden by corruption, prostitution and organized crime. People of Tešanj live in peace, though the war scars are visible everywhere in town, as well as in people's souls. After the war, the population of Tešanj consists almost exclusively of Bosniaks. Ethnic Serbs now live in surrounding villages. It is announced that U.S. president Bill Clinton will pay a visit to the town. Western bureaucrats arrive to Tešanj to supervise the preparations for the visit.
