Allison Jones (born 1955) is an American casting director who is credited for helping bring together realistic ensemble casts for such popular television shows as ''The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'' (1990–1996), ''Freaks and Geeks'' (1999–2000), ''Curb Your Enthusiasm'' (2000–), ''Undeclared'' (2001–2002), ''Arrested Development'' (2003–2006), the American version of ''The Office'' (2005–2013), ''United States of Tara'' (2009–2011), ''Parks and Recreation'' (2009–2015), ''Brooklyn Nine-Nine'' (2013–2021), ''The Good Place'' (2016–2020), and ''What We Do in the Shadows'' (2019–). Allison Jones (athlete)
Allison Jones (born in Amarillo, Texas, on May 12, 1984) is a Paralympic skier and cyclist for the United States of America. She was born with the birth defect proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD), which left her without a right femur. She underwent surgery at age 7 months to amputate her right foot, allowing her to more easily wear a prosthetic leg. She received her first prosthetic leg at 9 months of age. Allison moved from Amarillo, TX to Colorado Springs, CO at age 2 and a half. Education She has a mechanical engineering degree from University of Denver where she received the "Pioneer Award". Career At the 2006 Winter Paralympics she won a gold medal for slalom in the standing category. Before that she had won silver medals in the super-G and the giant slalom in the 2002 Winter Paralympics. She lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Nightjohn (film)
''Nightjohn'' is a 1996 American television drama film directed by Charles Burnett and written by Bill Cain, based on the 1993 novel of the same name by Gary Paulsen. It aired on Disney Channel as one of its Premiere Films, on June 1, 1996. The film is about a young slave girl named Sarny, played by Allison Jones, who lives a hopeless life on a Southern plantation. Her job is to take care of the white family's son as well as spitting tobacco on the roses to keep bugs away. Her life is changed when she is taught how to read by a fellow slave. The slave, John, says that learning to read is freedom because slavery is bounded by laws and deeds which the slaves cannot read. Her excitement towards reading gets her and her fellow slaves in trouble with their master, Mr. Wallace, who prohibits any slave from being able to read. When trouble ensues, Sarny uses her ability to read against Mr. Wallace and saves the lives of the rest of the slaves. She ends up being sold, but not before ...

Allison Blair Jones Rushing (born 1982) is an American attorney and jurist serving as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit since March 2019. Early life, family, and education Born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Rushing graduated from East Henderson High School in East Flat Rock, North Carolina. Rushing graduated ''summa cum laude'' and Phi Beta Kappa from Wake Forest University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in music. In 2007, she earned her Juris Doctor, ''magna cum laude'', from the Duke University School of Law. Rushing served as executive editor of the ''Duke Law Journal''. Rushing is a Baptist. Alyson Jones (born 1956) is a British GP and former swimming champion. Biography She was born in Middlesbrough in north-east England and attended local schools. She began training as a competitive swimmer at local clubs such as Eston and Hartlepool, winning several titles in the Northumberland and Durham Swimming Association. In 1974, at age 17, she represented England at the 1974 Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, New Zealand, winning a bronze medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay. She won the 1985 British Championship in 50 metres freestyle and 100 metres freestyle. Following this, she ceased competitive swimming to study medicine at the University of Nottingham. Remarkably, in 1985 she returned to competitive swimming at the age of 28, gaining national ranking in freestyle.
