Colonial Street
Colonial Street is one of the backlot street sets at the Universal Studios Lot in Universal City, California. The street set has a long history, spanning over 60 years of movies and television. From 2004 to 2012, it was used in the filming of the TV series ''Desperate Housewives'', in which the street was known as Wisteria Lane. After the production of ''Desperate Housewives'' ended, the street underwent a small makeover to remove the essence of Wisteria Lane, so that it could be used in other productions. , most of the iconic white fencing and wisteria has been removed. Allison Woods is a historic rural retreat and national historic district located near Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina. It encompasses six contributing buildings, four contributing sites, and three contributing structures on a gentleman's farm developed by William Locke Allison between about 1926 and 1939. The district includes natural woodlands and water features and the developed landscape to include the stream course with impoundments and Lower Lake. The built features are of brick or stone construction, with some representative of the Bungalow / American Craftsman style. William Allison House (College Grove, Tennessee)
The William Allison House (also known as Allison Heights) near College Grove, Tennessee is an antebellum, brick central passage plan house with Federal style detailing built during 1827–1832. It is a two-story house with a two-story rear ell and exterior brick chimneys. It has a one-story shed-roof addition from c. 1860 and a c. 1940 porch. with Description and history The house was built by William Allison, whose father James Allison had acquired a large estate of several hundred acres. James had married into the family of William Ogilvie, who was an original settler in the creek area in 1800. William Allison died in 1834. The home was later owned by one of his sons, Thomas P.P. Allison Ranger Station
The Allison Guard Station is a Forest Service compound consisting of eight rustic buildings located in the Malheur National Forest in the Ochoco Mountains of eastern Oregon. It was originally built as a district ranger station for the Snow Mountain Ranger District. It was later converted to a summer guard station. Today, it is an active Forest Service guard station with a crew of twelve fire fighters on station during the summer fire season. The station's oldest building, the ''Donnelly Cabin'', is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the "Allison Ranger Station". Most of the other buildings at the Allison Guard Station are eligible for historic designation, but are not yet listed on the National Register. George Allison House
The George F. Allison House is a historic house located at 418 West Duval Street in Live Oak, Florida, United States. It is locally significant as the home of George F. Allison, who was a pioneering Live Oak businessman during the city's formative commercial years as well as being a fine example of Colonial Revival architecture in the area. Description and history Although the actual construction date and builder of the house are not known, the house is shown on a 1903 Sanborn Insurance map. The Allison-Reinkeh House is a historic house in Hamilton, Montana, U.S.. It was built in 1889 for Martha Allison-Reinkeh, a homesteader from New York.
