Allie Brosh
Allie Brosh (born May 18, 1985) is an American blogger, writer and comic artist best known for her blog in the form of a webcomic ''Hyperbole and a Half''. Brosh grew up in small towns across the U.S. before attending the University of Montana. While there, Brosh started ''Hyperbole and a Half'' in 2009, on which she told stories from her life in a mix of text and intentionally crude illustrations. She has published two books telling stories in the same style, both of which have been ''New York Times'' bestsellers. Brosh lives with severe depression and ADHD, and her comics on depression have won praise from fans and mental health professionals. Her depression led her to withdraw from the internet and her blog for several years. Auburn is a city in and the county seat of Placer County, California, United States. Its population was 13,776 during the 2020 census. Rage Comic
A rage comic is a short cartoon strip using a growing set of pre-made cartoon faces, or rage faces, which usually express rage or some other simple emotion or activity. They are usually crudely drawn in Microsoft Paint or other simple drawing programs, and were most popular in the early 2010s. These webcomics have spread much in the same way that internet memes do, and several memes have originated in this medium. They have been characterized by Ars Technica as an "accepted and standardized form of online communication." The popularity of rage comics has been attributed to their use as vehicles for humorizing shared experiences. Elizabeth Gilbert (born July 18, 1969) is an American journalist and author. She is best known for her 2006 memoir, ''Eat, Pray, Love'', which has sold over 12 million copies and has been translated into over 30 languages. The book was also made into a film of the same name in 2010. Early life Gilbert was born in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1969. Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a disease of the female reproductive system in which cells similar to those in the endometrium, the layer of tissue that normally covers the inside of the uterus, grow outside the uterus. Most often this is on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and tissue around the uterus and ovaries; in rare cases it may also occur in other parts of the body. Some symptoms include pelvic pain, heavy periods, pain with bowel movements, and infertility. Nearly half of those affected have chronic pelvic pain, while in 70% pain occurs during menstruation. Pain during sexual intercourse is also common. Infertility occurs in up to half of affected individuals.
