Allen Crane is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. Allen Crane was formed by session guitarist Mark Warner. Warner is the sole lyrical and musical creative force of the band. Allen Crane is best known for its line-up of veteran artists, which includes keyboardist Steve Rossi, bassist John Billings and Cinderella drummer Fred Coury. Mark Warner is a songwriter, studio musician and music producer from California. Warner has received acknowledgement from the music industry for his songwriting contributions. In 2001 he won the Paramount Music Summer Songwriting Contest. He was also recognized for his lyrical accomplishments in the October 2001 edition of '' ASCAP Playback Magazine''. Warner credits several guitarists for providing his early musical influence, including Jimmy Page, Joe Perry and Peter Frampton. Later artistic influences include Tom Keifer and Jani Lane. Joseph Charles Michael Tafarella (May 25, 1932 – June 22, 2014), better known as Steve Rossi, was an American stand-up comedian and singer, best known from his work with Marty Allen as Allen & Rossi. Early life Born in New York City in 1932, Rossi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, arts and theater, Greek and Latin at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and served as an officer in the United States Air Force. Cinderella was an American Rock music, rock band formed in 1983 in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band emerged in the mid-1980s with a series of multi-platinum studio albums and hit singles whose music videos received heavy MTV rotation and popularity. Cinderella initially had a glam metal sound throughout the late 1980s before shifting into a more blues rock-based sound during the early to mid 1990s. By the mid-1990s, the band's fame declined precipitously due to personal setbacks, break-ups, and changes in the American music industry. Fred Coury
Fred Coury (born October 20, 1967) is an American musician best known as the drummer for the glam metal band Cinderella. Coury lists Neil Peart, Peter Criss, Bobby Blotzer, John Bonham, Eric Carr, Tommy Lee and Tommy Aldridge as his drumming inspirations. Early years Coury was born in Johnson City, New York, to a Lebanese family. At age 5, Coury started taking violin lessons. At age 6 he participated in his first public performance. Between the ages of 7 and 9 he studied at the Beirut Conservatory of Music in Beirut, Lebanon. At age 10, he added the trumpet to his repertoire. Finally, at age 12 he started to play the drums. By the age of 13, he was playing local bars with the band Sunjammer. As a teen, Coury was accepted to Berklee School of Music in Boston, for violin.
