Allen Crabbe
Allen Lester Crabbe III (born April 9, 1992) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the California Golden Bears men's basketball, California Golden Bears. He earned third-team NCAA Men's Basketball All-Americans, All-American honors as a junior, when he was also named the Pac-12 Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year, conference player of the year in the Pac-12 Conference men's basketball, Pac-12. Crabbe was selected in the second round of the 2013 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets are an American professional basketball team based in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The Nets compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. The team plays its home games at Barclays Center. The 2012–13 Pac-12 Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2012 and ended with the 2013 Pac-12 Conference men's basketball tournament from March 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The regular season began on the first weekend of November 2012, with the conference schedule starting in December 2012. On March 9, 2013, the UCLA Bruins defeated the Washington Huskies 61–54 to clinch the regular season conference title. Gatorade Player Of The Year Awards
The Gatorade Player of the Year awards are given annually to up and coming high school student-athletes in the United States. They are given for boys' baseball, boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' cross country, boys' football, boys' and girls' soccer, boys' and girls' track & field, girls' softball, and girls' volleyball. A "State Player of the Year" award is given to the best student-athlete in each of the twelve sports in the District of Columbia and each of the fifty states, where each sport is recognized as an interscholastic sport. Men's college basketball in the Pac-12 Conference began in 1915 with the formation of the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC). The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the ''Parade'' All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports. Started by the Sunday magazine in 1957, it had been the longest ongoing selection of high school basketball All-Americans in the country at the time of its final selections in 2015. Many of the honorees went on to star as college and professional basketball players. The 2010–11 Pacific-10 Conference men's basketball season began with practices on October 18, 2010 and ended with the 2011 Pacific-10 Conference men's basketball tournament from March 9–11, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The regular season began on the weekend of November 12, with the conference schedule starting on December 30. The conference dedicated the season to legendary UCLA coach John Wooden, who died in June 2010 at age 99. The Washington Huskies defeated the regular season champions Arizona Wildcats 77–75 in overtime to capture the tournament championship.
