Tomas Henry Gaynor (born 21 February 1991), known professionally as Allday, is an Australian rapper, singer and songwriter from Adelaide. Gaynor became active in 2011, when he began uploading his music for free online. Following his works becoming increasingly popular, he moved to Melbourne, to pursue a serious career before later relocating to Los Angeles in February 2017. His works have been influenced by acts such as Silverchair, Frank Ocean, and TLC. Gaynor released his debut album, ''Startup Cult'', in July 2014 to Australian audiences. ''Startup Cult'' achieved success and reached number three on the ARIA Charts. Early life Gaynor grew up in the Adelaide suburb of Blackwood. ''Startup Cult'' is the debut album by Australian rap artist Allday. It was released on 4 July 2014. It was released internationally via Wind-up Records on 18 September 2015. The album spawned four singles: " Right Now", "Cult", " You Always Know the DJ", and "Wolves" (featuring Sunni Colón). Singles Allday released " Right Now" as the lead single from Startup Cult on 25 April 2014. The 2012 Triple J Hottest 100 was announced on Australia Day 26 January 2013. It was the 20th countdown of the most popular songs of the year, as chosen by the listeners of Australian radio station Triple J. Voting commenced on 19 December 2012, and closed at midnight on 20 January 2013. Over 1.5 million votes were cast in this countdown, beating the record set in the 2011 list. In the week prior to the countdown, Nick Drewe, a Brisbane statistician and marketer, analysed the votes that had been published on social media and determined the possible top 100, naming it thWarmest 100 The votes that had been published represented approximately 2.7% of the total vote. Ultimately, his list correctly predicted 92 of the songs in the countdown, the songs comprising the top 10, and the top 3 in the correct order. Raw Comedy Award
Raw Comedy is an Australian annual competition for emerging stand-up comedians held by Melbourne International Comedy Festival. It was established in 1996 and is supported by national youth radio station Triple J. In 2011, there were 1,100 contestants. Heats take place in major Australian cities through January, February and March. State semi-finals and finals are held in the state capitals in March. The final is held as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April and televised on ABC.
