Crichton ( ) is an unincorporated community within the Rural Municipality of Wise Creek No. 77, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is located between Admiral, Saskatchewan, Admiral and Cadillac, Saskatchewan, Cadillac on the historic Red Coat Trail, also known as Saskatchewan, Highway 13. Like so many towns along the Red Coat Trail, Crichton has become a ghost town with only one family remaining and many empty buildings scattered throughout the town site. History On July 25 to 29, 1913 a survey began by a man named David Townsend from Calgary, Alberta plotting out the new community. The Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan is the legislative chamber of the Saskatchewan Legislature in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Bills passed by the assembly are given royal assent by the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, in the name of the King in Right of Saskatchewan. The assembly meets at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building in Regina. There are 61 constituencies in the province, which elect members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) to the Legislative Assembly. All are single-member districts, though the cities of Regina, Saskatoon and Moose Jaw were in the past represented through multi-member districts, with members elected through Block Voting. Shaunavon (electoral District)
Shaunavon is a former provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. This district was created before the 8th Saskatchewan general election in 1934 as "Gull Lake". Redrawn and renamed "Shaunavon" in 1952, the constituency was abolished before the 23rd Saskatchewan general election in 1995. It is now part of the districts of Wood River and Cypress Hills.
