Allan Johansen
Allan Johansen (born 14 July 1971) is a Danish former professional road bicycle racer. Career He became professional in 1998 for Team Chicky World, before moving to (later known as Team CSC) in 2000. Johansen continued at Team Fakta from 2001 to 2003 then to in 2004, before returning to Team CSC in 2005, where remained until the end of 2007. In 2008 he joined . Johansen retired in 2009 ending his career with the 2009 Danmark Rundt when he was awarded the fighters award for the race. He rode in the 2000 Tour de France, and finished 119th overall. He also finished 125th in the 2005 Vuelta a España. 2009 Danmark Rundt
The 2009 Danmark Rundt was a men's road bicycle race held from 29 July to 2 August 2009. It was the 19th edition of the men's stage race, which was established in 1985. The race was won by Danish rider Jakob Fuglsang of Team Saxo Bank, making this his second consecutive victory in the race. Maurizio Biondo of Ceramica Flaminia finished second by just three seconds with Roger Hammond of Cervélo third. Schedule Teams Fifteen teams took part in the 2009 race. Team Columbia-HTC was due to compete but withdrew as it was unable to field a team. Grand Prix Herning is a one-day road bicycle race, held in ''Midtjylland'', Denmark. The race is organised by Herning Bicycle Club with both start and goal in Herning. The race is characterised by its gravel paths, which result in multiple punctures for the racers. The many paths and defects makes the race very selective, and it is often won by a solo rider or from a small group. Grand Prix Herning gained prominence with Bjarne Riis's victories in 1996 (the same year that he won Tour de France), 1997 and 1998. For several years the race was run as part of the UCI's calendar, with a fixed spot for the coming spring. It has gained the nickname "A spring day at the heath" (''En Forårsdag på heden'') with the hidden hint to Jørgen Leth's film on Paris–Roubaix, ''A Sunday in Hell'' (''En Forårsdag i Helede''). The Brussels Cycling Classic (known until June 2013 as Paris–Brussels) is a semi classic European bicycle race, one of the oldest races on the international calendar. History Paris–Brussels was first run on 12 August 1893 as an amateur event over a distance of 397 km, Belgian Andre Henry took the inaugural victory from compatriot Charles Delbecque with France's Fernand Augenault coming in third. The race did not return to the racing calendar until 1906 when it was run as a two-day event on 3 and 4 June. The first stage of this 1906 event was run from the Paris suburb of Villiers-sur-Marne to Reims over 152 km and was won by France's Maurice Bardonneau.
