All The Beauty
''All the Beauty...'' is the debut album released by the Norway, Norwegian gothic metal band Mortal Love, under the German record label Massacre Records, on December 2, 2002. Background ''All the Beauty...'' starts the trilogy of releases which tell a story of love and rejection. Zet (Henning Ramseth) from the band Ram-Zet produced the album, which was recorded in his personal recording studio in Norway, the Space Valley Studio. All the tracks have an instrumental transition that unites them, a continuity technique that wasn't used in the following two albums. Track listing All tracks composed by Mortal Love. Mortal Love
Mortal Love was a Norwegian metal band from the city of Elverum, formed in 2000. Their sound made combined use of soprano and tenor vocals, whilst placing emphasis on a consistent rhythm section with heavy guitars, piano and synthesizer melodies. Their three released albums, which lyrically dealt with love and failed relationships, were composed as a trilogy, as can be observed by combining their titles — All the Beauty, I Have Lost, Forever Will Be Gone. The band released the final album of the trilogy on 22 September 2006. On 21 November 2010, the band posted on their Tumblr blog an announcement claiming they had composed over 50 new songs and settled on 10 for the release of a new album. However, it was also stated in the post that their sound had changed, becoming "less guitar-heavy", and that their label Massacre Records had declined to fund the recording and release of the album due to that. Gothic metal (or goth metal) is a fusion genre combining the aggression of heavy metal with the dark atmospheres of gothic rock. The music of gothic metal is diverse with bands known to adopt the gothic approach to different styles of heavy metal music. Massacre Records
Massacre Records is an independent record label based in Abstatt, Germany, that specializes in bands of the heavier genres of metal. The label was founded in 1991 by Torsten Hartmann. Connected to Massacre Records is the marketing and music wholesale Metal Merchant, the sub-labels Blue Rose Records and Gutter Records for the singer/songwriter genre and for German metal respectively and the music publisher Sylvian Music. Massacre Records also distributes the albums of the gothic metal label MCM Music. From 1995 to 2000, Massacre Records maintained the sub-label Swanlake Records for its gothic metal and folk metal output. Ram-Zet
Ram-Zet is an avant-garde metal band formed in Hamar, Norway in 1998. Genre classification Ram-Zet's music is very diverse ranging from black metal to thrash metal. It has industrial sounds, progressive structures, and traditional instruments forming a style which some people, including band mastermind Zet, have called "schizo-metal". Their music contains many rare time signatures, unconventional harmonies, and unusual violin parts.
