All That Matters (Louise Song)
"All That Matters" is a song by British singer Louise, released in March 1998 by EMI and 1st Avenue as the third and final single from the singer's second album, '' Woman in Me'' (1997). The single peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. It was remixed for the clubs by Hex Hector and DJ Tonka. Critical reception British magazine ''Music Week'' wrote, "Since launching her solo career, Louise has notched up seven consecutive Top 20 hits. Louise Redknapp
Louise Elizabeth Redknapp (née Nurding, born 4 November 1974) is an English singer, songwriter and media personality. She was a member of Eternal, an R&B girl group which debuted in 1993 with their quadruple-platinum studio album '' Always & Forever''. In 1995, she departed from the group for a solo career, in which she released the albums ''Naked'' (1996), '' Woman in Me'' (1997) and ''Elbow Beach'' (2000). Miriam Arlene Stockley (born 15 April 1962) is a British singer. She was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and her work is influenced by the African music of her home country. Her distinctive ''vocal warm up#Vocalise, vocalise'' style gained international acclaim when Karl Jenkins launched the ''Adiemus (albums), Adiemus'' project with ''Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary'', with Stockley as the lead singer. Lance Ellington (born 22 June 1957) is an English singer, songwriter and actor. Ellington, the only son of the band leader Ray Ellington, specialises in swing and big ballads. He has worked with many artists including Sting, George Michael, Gloria Gaynor, Michael Jackson and Robbie Williams, and currently makes regular performances on the BBC programme ''Strictly Come Dancing''. DJ Tonka (born Thomas-René Gerlach on June 24, 1973 in Mainz, West Germany) is a German electronic dance musician. He is also known as Tonka, Chip Tunes, and Thomastic. Musical career In his early career, Thomas-René Gerlach worked with fellow producer Ian Pooley in the groups Outrage, Space Cube, and T'N'I. Together they produced several records in techno, progressive house and breakbeat. In 1996, the partnership was dissolved (an EP with unreleased tracks was still released in 1997), and coincidentally, both started producing a more mainstream-friendly sound. As a solo artist, Gerlach took on the name DJ Tonka and began producing house music, with influences from synthpop and the American garage house scene. ''Woman in Me'' is the second studio album by English singer Louise, released by EMI in October 1997. The album was preceded by the release of the single " Arms Around the World", which peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Louise's highest charting single at the time. This was quickly followed up by the single "Let's Go Round Again" (a cover of the 1980 hit by the Average White Band), which reached number 10. A third single, " All That Matters", peaked at number 11.
