"All My Best Friends Are Metalheads" is a single by the American ska punk band Less Than Jake. The two live tracks on the single are taken from a 7" track that the band did in 2000. It was released to airplay on July 4, 2000 although the album itself was recorded and released in 1998. It is one of the group's best known songs. There are two versions of the intro to this song. In most cases, it starts with a clip from a Victor Lundberg speech called “An Open Letter to My Teenage Son.” The other is a clip from the documentary ''Heavy Metal Parking Lot''. In the UK Singles Chart, it got to number 51. A metalhead is a fan of heavy metal music. Less Than Jake is an American ska punk band from Gainesville, Florida, formed in 1992. The band consists of Chris DeMakes (guitars, vocals), Roger Lima (bass, vocals), Matt Yonker (drums), Buddy Schaub (trombone), and Peter "JR" Wasilewski (saxophone). The group released its debut album, ''Pezcore'', in 1995, following a series of independent seven-inch single releases. ''Street Sk8er'' - known in PAL territories as ''Street Skater'' - is a skateboarding video game for the PlayStation. It was first released in Japan in 1998 under the name , then was licensed by Electronic Arts for distribution in 1999. It was re-released later in Japan as part of the Simple 1500 series of budget games under the name ''The Skateboard''. It was released on the PlayStation 3 in Europe as a download via the PlayStation Store in May 2008. Gameplay Players attempt to clear each track by scoring a minimum number of points within a set time limit. The tracks consist of obstacles to perform tricks on, including rails, benches and half-pipes. Craig Yoe (born February 23, 1951) is an author, editor, art director, graphic designer, cartoonist and comics historian, best known for his Yoe! Studio creations and his line of Yoe! Books. Early life Craig Yoe was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio and the University of Akron before dropping out to concentrate on counter-cultural activities and the anti-war movement. Career In the early 70's Yoe was a leader in the Akron Jesus People movement, creating a newspaper/Christian comic first called ''The Acorn'' and, later, ''Jesus Loves You''.
