All India Democratic Youth Organisation
All India Democratic Youth Organisation is the youth wing of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist). All India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO) was formed on 26 June 1966, with the stated purpose of uniting the youth of India to fight all social menaces and atrocities such as superstition, communalism, casteism, regionalism, religious fundamentalism, etc. The All India President of the organisation is A Ramanjanappa Aldalli and the General Secretary is Prathibha Nayak. Socialist Unity Centre Of India (Communist)
The Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) or SUCI(C), previously called the Socialist Unity Centre of India and "Socialist Unity Centre", is an anti-revisionist Marxist-Leninist communist party in India. The party was founded by Shibdas Ghosh, Nihar Mukherjee and others in 1948. Ideology SUCI(C) is a communist party in India, and follows a Marxist-Leninist ideological line formulated by Shibdas Ghosh. The party rejects political ideas such as ''glasnost'' and ''perestroika'' as revisionist, and claims to uphold the original intent of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, and the thoughts of Ghosh. SUCI(C) holds that India is a capitalist country with monopoly capitalism and imperialist trends. Shibdas Ghosh
Shibdas Ghosh (5 August 1923 – 5 August 1976) was an Indian communist politician. He was involved in the Communism in India, Communist movement in India for several decades. He was also the founding general secretary of Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist). Ghosh was born in the Dhaka District of British India, to a lower-middle-class family. Passing 10th standard from his village school at the age of 13 he joined the Anushilan Samity to participate in the Indian independence movement, independence movement of India. He was attracted to Manabendranath Roy's ideologies at a very early age. In 1942 he joined the Quit India movement. He was later arrested and incarcerated for three years. There he thoroughly studied Marxism-Leninism. Later along with some colleagues such as Nihar Mukherjee he organised SUCI(C) in 1948. He died on his 53rd birthday in 1976.
