''All I Have to Offer Is My Own Confusion'' is the debut full-length studio album by American rock band Fireworks. Background Fireworks formed in Metro Detroit, Michigan in 2005. The band consisted of vocalist David Mackinder, guitarists Brett Jones and Chris Mojan, bassist Kyle O'Neil, and drummer Tymm Rengers. The group released a demo, ''Can't Hardly Wait'', before releasing the '' We Are Everywhere'' (2006) EP the following year. The group supported the EP by touring with bands such as Set Your Goals, Valencia, and Strung Out. In 2008 the band released another EP, ''Adventure, Nostalgia, and Robbery'' through Run for Cover. History Early years and debut album (2004–10) Fireworks began in 2004 under the name Bears, hailing from the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. A demo, ''Can't Hardly Wait'', was released on September 15, 2005. They signed to the independent label, Run For Cover Records, who released their debut EP, ''We Are Everywhere'', and 7" ''Adventure, Nostalgia and Robbery''. New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. Shai Hulud is an American metalcore band formed in Pompano Beach, Florida, in 1995, and later based in Poughkeepsie, New York. The band is named after the giant sandworms in Frank Herbert's novel ''Dune''. The two mainstay members of Shai Hulud are considered to be Matt Fox (guitar), who writes most of the band's musical and lyrical output, and Matt Fletcher (originally guitar, now bass), who assists in writing. Transit was an American rock band from Stoneham, Massachusetts. From their formation in 2006 to their 2016 split, they released five albums, four EPs, and a split EP with Man Overboard. Although they largely took influence from emo acts such as Saves the Day, Death Cab for Cutie, American Football, Fairweather, Lifetime, and Hot Water Music their sound transformed from a fusion of pop punk and contemporary emo from their early releases into an indie rock sound by their final release, ''Joyride''. A Loss for Words (formerly Last Ride) was an American pop punk band from Abington, Massachusetts. History Early years (1999–2004) Matty Arsenault and Danny Poulin from Lions Lions started a new band, Last Ride Pony Rides and, in 1999, it would soon feature Kreg Dudley, Chris Murphy, and Evan Cordeiro. The band had five names listed in a notebook before they changed it, and one of the names was A Loss for Words. The band would change its name to A Loss for Words after attending a minister's service. Mike Adams was soon drafted to play bass after the original bass player had no desire to play in front of people. Marc Dangora, from MAFFUMPH, joined in 2004. The Swellers
The Swellers were an American punk band from Flint, Michigan. Their music is influenced by melodic punk rock bands as well as alternative and indie rock from the 1990s. Band history On June 24, 2002, brothers Nick and Jonathan Diener brought their friend Nate Lamberts from Grand Rapids, MI to Fenton, MI to jam. In the following days, The Swellers was formed and recorded a 3-song demo. After a week, the band booked its first show at the Flint Local 432 in Flint, Michigan opening for the band Divit. After a few years of playing shows all over Michigan and eventually the Midwest, The Swellers recruited Nick Ondovcsik on 2nd guitar. After a short lived stint with the band, Ondovcsik left in order to pursue other musical interests, eventually forming the death metal band Ares Letum.
