All American 400
The All American 400 is a 400-lap Super Late Model stock car race held annually at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, a half-mile paved oval track in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The race has been contested every year since 1981 except for from 2001 to 2002, 2009, 2011, and 2018 and is typically run on either Sunday or Saturday in the first weekend of November or on either Sunday or Saturday in the last weekend of October, although in some years it has been run earlier or later than that, with no relation to the last or first weekend of either month. The All American 400 has gained a reputation for attracting some of the biggest names in short track racing including stars from NASCAR and is considered one of the biggest crown jewel events in all of Super Late Model racing. Darrell Waltrip
Darrell Lee Waltrip (born February 5, 1947) is an American motorsports analyst, author, former national television broadcaster, and stock car driver. He raced from 1972 to 2000 in the NASCAR Cup Series (known as the NASCAR Winston Cup Series during his time as a driver), most notably driving the No. 17 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. Waltrip is a three-time Cup Series champion (1981, 1982, 1985). Casey Roderick (born August 8, 1992) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes in The Southern Super Series competition across the south east and various short tracks all over the country. Andrew "Bubba" Pollard (born March 16, 1987) is an American stock car racing driver. He currently competes in super late model racing, driving the No. 26 Ford for his own team, and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series East, driving the No. 17 Ford for DGR-Crosley. Daniel Hemric (born January 27, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Kaulig Racing and the No. 23 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing. John Hunter Nemechek (born June 11, 1997) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 20 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing. Christopher Allen Gabehart (born May 16, 1981) is an American NASCAR crew chief and former stock car racing driver. He currently works for Joe Gibbs Racing as the crew chief for Denny Hamlin in the No. 11 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Cup Series, a position he has held since 2019. He raced in the southeastern United States, primarily in North Carolina during the 80s and 90s. He raced in the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southeast Series. Query won the 1998 Slim Jim All Pro Series championship. He attempted to make one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race that year but did not qualify. Bobby Gill (born June 25, 1959) is an American former stock car racing driver. He raced for a number of years in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, earning four top-tens in 16 starts. Pre-NASCAR Career Prior to racing in NASCAR's national touring series, he found success in NASCAR's All-Pro Series, and was the winner of the ASA's Miller 300 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in 1995.
