Pop Music
Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. 2PM (; romanized; ''Tupiem'') is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Jun. K (formerly known as Junsu), Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. Originally a seven-piece group, former member Jaebeom left the group in 2009 due to controversies that stemmed from his posts on MySpace. Through the documentary series ''Hot Blood Men'', Korean musician Park Jin-young formed an eleven-member band known as One Day. Eventually, the band was split into the hip hop group 2PM and a similar but independent group known as 2AM. 2PM debuted with the song "10 Out of 10" (, lit. "10 Points Out of 10 Points"), which showcased their acrobatic dance styles. They then achieved their first number 1 single with "Again & Again". "Heartbeat" is a song by K-pop band 2PM. It was released on November 10, 2009, as the lead single for '' 01:59PM''. Promotion Six teaser videos, each featuring one of the band members, were released in the weeks leading up to the album's release on YouTube YouTube is a global online video platform, online video sharing and social media, social media platform headquartered in San Bruno, California. It was launched on February 14, 2005, by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. It is owned by .... The videos started with various close-up shots of the band members hooked up to medical equipment and speaking. The videos then pan to a heartbeat monitor, play a short clip of the song, and displays the text "What is your Heartbeating for?" Park Jin-young (Hangul: 박진영; born December 13, 1971), also known by his stage names J. Y. Park and The Asiansoul or the initials JYP, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, record executive, and reality television show judge. Park rose to stardom as a singer following the release of his 1994 debut album, ''Blue City''. In 1997, he became the founder of JYP Entertainment, one of the most profitable entertainment agencies in South Korea.
