The 2003 All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie Championship for the leading clubs in the women's team field sport of camogie was won by Granagh-Ballingarry GAA#Camogie, Granagh-Ballingarry (Limerick GAA#Camogie, Limerick), who defeateDavitts(Galway GAA#Camogie, Gal) in the final, played at Mullingar. Granagh-Ballingarry GAA
Granagh-Ballingarry GAA ( ga, Greanach-Baile an Gharraí) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in west Limerick, Ireland, within the jurisdiction of Limerick GAA. The club is situated near Knockfierna Hill. Granagh-Ballingarry GAA was formed in 1990 after the merger between Granagh and Ballingarry GAA clubs. Previously, the clubs had been playing together in some competitions. Hurling Hurling is the more popular game in the parish. Granagh-Ballingarry are currently (2021) in the Intermediate grade. This is the third tier of the Limerick Hurling Championship. They had enjoyed a period at Senior, after defeating Glenroe GAA 4–10 to 3–10 in the 2005 Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship. Orla E. Watson (June 3, 1896 – January 17, 1983) was an American inventor, engineer, and draftsman. He is most remembered for his invention of the rear swinging door feature on grocery shopping carts allowing the cart to telescope, or "nest" in order to save space. History Orla E. Watson was born in 1896, and after attending Nevada Business College for one year, he worked as a stock clerk in a hardware store in Kansas City, then joined the Army. He then had a number of jobs including machinist, draftsman, and foreman. Watson experimented with his various ideas on the side, including the development of a Model T timer to replace the stock electrical device on Model T automobiles. In 1933, he opened a business making air conditioners. In 1944, he had also applied for and was granted four patents for mechanical valves, pumps, and gauges in order to develop a pump though none of which were ever licensed or manufactured.
