HT Premijer Liga
The Hrvatski Telekom Premijer liga ( en, Hrvatski Telekom Premier League, ), also known as HT Premijer liga or simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level men's professional basketball league in Croatia. It began in 1991, following the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia and therefore the Yugoslav League, and is organized by the Croatian Basketball Federation. The HT Premijer liga, which is played under FIBA rules, currently consists of 12 teams. The most successful club is KK Cibona with 19 championship titles. Sinj
Sinj (; it, Signo; german: Zein) is a town in the continental part of Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. The town itself has a population of 11,478 and the population of the administrative municipality, which includes surrounding villages, is 24,826 (2011). Geography Sinj is located in the heart of the Dalmatian hinterland, the area known as ''Cetinska krajina'', a group of settlements situated on a fertile karstic field of Sinjsko polje through which the river Cetina passes. Sinj lies between four mountains: Svilaja, Dinara, Kamešnica and Visoka. Those mountains give Sinj its specific submediterranean climate (hotter summers and colder winters). Stipe Modrić
Stipe Modrić (; born May 8, 1979) is a Slovenian professional basketball coach who is the assistant coach for Ilirija of the Slovenian Second League. Born in Sinj to a Croat father, Modrić played at the position of forward and power forward. During his career, he had played for Alkar, Union Olimpija, Ludwigsburg, Geoplin Slovan, Cedevita, Anwil Włocławek and Astrum Levice. On December 11, 2012, he returned to Geoplin Slovan. Modrić won the 2000–01 and 2001–02 Slovenian national championship with Olimpija.
