Alive At Red Rocks
''Alive at Red Rocks'' is a live DVD and bonus CD by the American band Incubus. It was recorded in Red Rocks, Colorado on July 26, 2004. It was the first DVD showing new bassist Ben Kenney (Dirk Lance's replacement). It was also the first DVD that featured Mike Einziger using a Fender Rhodes piano, on the performances of "Here in My Room" and " Drive." The bonus CD included five previously unreleased tracks. One was the popular live song "Pantomime", which was recorded for '' A Crow Left of the Murder...'', but ultimately left off. "Monuments and Melodies", a B-side of the "Megalomaniac" single and Japanese bonus track of ''A Crow Left of the Murder...'', was also released. A new version of the song called "Follow" (the previous version being a movement from ''The Odyssey'', featured on the '' Halo 2 Original Soundtrack'') was included. Incubus (band)
Incubus is an American Rock music, rock band from Calabasas, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer José Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex Katunich, Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich, and Gavin Koppell, Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppell; both of whom were replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and Chris Kilmore, DJ Kilmore, respectively. Incubus has attained commercial success, reaching multi-platinum sales, as well as releasing several successful singles (music), singles. After their first two albums, ''Fungus Amongus'' (1995) and ''S.C.I.E.N.C.E.'' Mike Einziger
Michael Aaron Einziger (born June 21, 1976) is an American musician, songwriter and producer. He is best known for being co-founder and guitarist of the rock band Incubus, and has also co-written, produced and collaborated with a wide array of artists including Pharrell Williams, Hans Zimmer, Skrillex, Tyler the Creator, Avicii, Damian Marley, Jason Schwartzman (Coconut Records) and Steve Martin among many others. Incubus has sold over 23 Million albums worldwide, and in 2013, Einziger co-wrote the hit song " Wake Me Up", alongside Avicii and Aloe Blacc. As an entrepreneur, Einziger is the co-founder and co-chairman of the wireless technology platform MIXhalo, and also the co-founder and CEO of the biotechnology startup Versicolor Technologies. ''S.C.I.E.N.C.E.'' is the second album by the American rock band Incubus, released on September 9, 1997, by Epic/Immortal Records. It has been certified Gold by the RIAA, and is the second and final Incubus release to feature Gavin Koppell (known as DJ Lyfe), who first appeared on the 1997 ''Enjoy Incubus'' EP. At times it has been considered the band's proper debut album, due to the independent nature of their previous full-length release ''Fungus Amongus''. Background Production After recording their independent debut album ''Fungus Amongus'', Incubus signed a seven-record deal with Epic Records/Sony-affiliated Immortal Records. The Police
The Police were an English rock band formed in London in 1977. For most of their history the line-up consisted of primary songwriter Sting (lead vocals, bass guitar), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums, percussion). "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da" is a song by The Police, released as a single on 20 November 1980. Released as the British second single from the album ''Zenyatta Mondatta'', the song was written by Sting as a comment on how people love simple-sounding songs. The song was re-recorded in 1986 as "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da '86" but not released until 1995. Background According to lead singer Sting, the song is about the attraction that people have to simple songs. The ''Halo 2 Original Soundtrack'' is the soundtrack for Bungie's 2004 video game ''Halo 2''. The soundtrack was released as two separate volumes, released almost two years apart. "Megalomaniac" is a song by the American rock band Incubus, from their 2004 album '' A Crow Left of the Murder...'' It was released as a single in December 2003, and eventually reached the top of ''Billboard''s Modern Rock Tracks, where it stayed for a six-week period. Outside the United States, the song reached the top 30 in Italy, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
