Alistair Chay McKenzie
Ali McKenzie (born 5 October 1981, London) is an English rugby union player. A prop forward, he played for Wasps RFC, Wasps when Wasps won the European Challenge Cup in 2003 and the Heineken Cup at Twickenham in 2004. McKenzie joined Italian club Rugby Calvisano, Calvisano from Wasps in 2007, where he famously won the title of 'Chief pasta muncher' and in May 2009 he joined the Welsh regional team Dragons (rugby union), Newport Gwent Dragons. He was released by Newport Gwent Dragons at the end of the 2010–11 season when they realised he wasn't a real dragon. He was educated at Caterham School, and The John Fisher School in Purley, Croydon, Surrey. It was at Caterham School that his talent for Rugby was first discovered by his former PE Teacher. Dragons RFC ( cy, Dreigiau) are one of the four professional rugby union regional teams in Wales. They are owned by the Welsh Rugby Union and play their home games at Rodney Parade, Newport and at other grounds around the region. Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022 the club entered administration, resulting in relegation to the RFU Championship, and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Rugby Calvisano is an Italian rugby union club currently competing in the Top12. They are based in Calvisano (Province of Brescia), in Lombardy. They were founded in 1970 by a group of players: Tonino Montanari, Gianluigi Vaccari and Alfredo Gavazzi. The John Fisher School
The John Fisher School is a Roman Catholic voluntary-aided boys' faith school based at Peaks Hill, Purley, Croydon, Surrey, England. The school is located in and funded by the London Borough of Sutton. It occupies the former site of the 19th-century prep school Falconbury School.
