Alison Mary Rich is a New Zealand dentistry academic. As of September 2018 she is a full professor and Head of the Department of Oral Diagnostic & Surgical Sciences at the University of Otago. The New Zealand Order of Merit is an order of merit in the New Zealand royal honours system.
