Aliso Niguel High School
Aliso Niguel High School (ANHS), which is part of the Capistrano Unified School District, is located in the city of Aliso Viejo, California. Most of its students reside in the communities of Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel. The school is a California Distinguished School, a National Blue Ribbon School, and a New American High School. Aliso Niguel was ranked as number 252 in ''Newsweek's'' 2016 list of the top 500 high schools in the nation. History Opening its doors in 1993 with a student body of 1600, ANHS became the fourth high school in the Capistrano Unified School District. Their last line-up included vocalist and pianist Andrew McMahon, guitarists Josh Partington and Bobby Anderson, bassist Kevin Page and drummer Brian Ireland. Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. Western Band Association
The Western Band Association (WBA) is a nonprofit organization that promotes high school music education in California, Arizona and Nevada. Specifically, the WBA organizes many marching band competitions for high school students. Its championships event is considered to be the second-largest single marching contest in the country. In addition to marching band events, WBA also organizes concert band festivals, symposia, and musical and leadership clinics. The Pacific Coast Conference is an American high school sports league in Orange County, California and is affiliated with CIF Southern Section. The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) is the governing body for high school sports in the U.S. state of California. CIF membership includes both public and private high schools.
