Alina Kenzel (born 10 August 1997) is a German athlete specialising in the shot put The shot put is a track and field event involving "putting" (throwing) a heavy spherical ball—the ''shot''—as far as possible. The shot put competition for men has been a part of the modern Olympics since their revival in 1896, and women's .... She won a gold medal at the 2016 World U20 Championships and a bronze at the 2017 European U23 Championships. Her personal bests in the event are 18.21 metres outdoors (Rechberghausen 2018) and 17.68 metres indoors (Rochlitz 2017). Konstanz (, , locally: ; also written as Constance in English) is a university city with approximately 83,000 inhabitants located at the western end of Lake Constance in the south of Germany. The city houses the University of Konstanz and was the residence of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Konstanz for more than 1,200 years.
