Alin Moldoveanu
Alin Moldoveanu (; born 3 May 1983, in Focșani) is a Romanian 10 m Air Rifle sport shooter, Olympic champion at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He also competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics where he ranked fourth. Moldoveanu won the gold medal in the 10 m Air Rifle in the London Olympics 2012 with a total score of 702.1. Focșani
Focșani (; yi, פֿאָקשאַן, Fokshan) is the capital city of Vrancea County in Romania on the banks the river Milcov, in the historical region of Moldavia. It has a population () of 79,315. Geography Focșani lies at the foot of the Curvature Carpathians, at a point of convergence for tectonic geologic faults, which raises the risk of earthquakes in the vicinity. Shooting At The 2004 Summer Olympics – Men's 10 Metre Air Rifle
The men's 10 metre air rifle competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics was held on 16 August at the Markópoulo Olympic Shooting Centre near Athens, Greece. The event consisted of two rounds: a qualifier and a final. In the qualifier, each shooter fired 60 shots with an air rifle at 10 metres distance from the standing position. Scores for each shot were in increments of 1, with a maximum score of 10. The top 8 shooters in the qualifying round moved on to the final round. There, they fired an additional 10 shots. These shots scored in increments of .1, with a maximum score of 10.9. The total score from all 70 shots was used to determine final ranking.
