Aliki Kayaloglou or Alice Kayaloglou (in Greek Αλίκη Καγιαλόγλου) is a Greek singer and performer and has had a long international career. She has collaborated with two of the most important Greek composers, Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis. Appeared starting 1982 in recitals in Greece and abroad. Aliki Liacouras Brandenberg or pen name Aliki (born September 3, 1929) is an American author and illustrator of books for children. Early life Brandenberg was born in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, to James Peter and Stella (née Lagakos) Liacouras. Her parents, who lived in Philadelphia, were originally from Greece, and they taught her to speak Greek as a first language. She started to draw at an early age, and her parents enrolled her in art classes. She also took piano lessons. Career After graduating from the Philadelphia Museum School of Art in 1951, Brandenberg worked briefly at the J. C. Penney Company in New York, in that company's display department. She then moved back to Philadelphia and worked as a freelance artist, creating art for advertising and display purposes. Aliki Stamatina Vougiouklaki (Greek: Αλίκη Σταματίνα Βουγιουκλάκη Greek pronunciation: ˈlici stamaˈtina vuʝuˈklaci 20 July 1934 – 23 July 1996) was a Greek cinema and theater actress, singer and theatrical producer. She is one of the most popular actresses in Greece, and was given the title of the National Star of Greece. Theatrically, she mostly starred in renditions of widely known Broadway musicals as well as multiple Greek tragedy plays. Vougiouklaki died in 1996 at the age of 62, just three months after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Aliki Stergiadu (born 5 October 1972) is a former competitive ice dancer. She is the 1991 World Junior champion with Juris Razgulajevs for the Soviet Union. Personal life Stergiadu was born on 5 October 1972 in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union. She lived in Elektrostal, Russia until she took a coaching position in Skellefteå, Sweden in 2006. She married Lennart "Lelle" Erinder in September 2012 in Skellefteå. Career Stergiadu began skating at age five. Early in her career, she competed for the Soviet Union with Juris Razgulajevs. Coached by Natalia Linichuk in Moscow, they won the 1991 World Junior Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
