Arif Alikhan ( hi, आरिफ़ अलीख़ान ur}) is a former senior official with the U.S. Department of Justice who has served in several high-level law enforcement and homeland security positions with the federal government and City of Los Angeles. He was also the Deputy Executive Director for homeland security, law enforcement, and fire/EMS at Los Angeles World Airports. He was appointed to the new position in October 2011 and is responsible for the 1,200 sworn police officers and civilian security officers that protect Los Angeles International Airport, Ontario International Airport, and Van Nuys Airport. Rehan Iqbal Alikhan ( ur, ریحان اقبال علی خان; born 28 December 1962) is a British-born former cricketer of Pakistani descent. He was a right-handed batsman and an occasional off-break bowler. He was born in Westminster, London. Alikhan's cricketing career began in 1986 for Sussex with a debut against Cambridge University, and he then retained his place in the side for the rest of the season, playing largely as an opening batsman. Elihan Tore ( Uyghur: ئەلىخان تۆرە; ; 21 March 1884 – 28 February 1976) was the 1st president of the Second East Turkestan Republic. He was born in Tokmok, formerly known as Balasagun, Kyrgyzstan and in 1920 he escaped from the Soviet Union to Kashgar in East Turkestan. Alihan Samedov ( az, Əlixan Səmədov, ; born 27 April 1964) is an Azerbaijani musician known for playing wind instruments and Azerbaijan folk instruments. Alihan Samedov was born in Sumgait, Azerbaijan SSR in 1964. Descending from a musician family, he completed his first and secondary education between the years 1971 and 1979.
