Ali Tanrıyar
Ali Tanrıyar (14 March 1914 – 25 May 2017) was a Turkish internist, politician, Interior Minister of Turkey, chairman of the sports club Galatasaray S.K.. and centenarian, having lived to 103. Ali Tanrıyar was born in Ottoman Greece in 1914. He emigrated with his family, and settled in Kırkağaç district of Manisa Province, Turkey. He was married with one child, two grandchildren, and celebrated his 100th birthday in 2014. Tanrıyar was the brother-in-law of former Turkish prime minister and president Turgut Özal. Physician He was educated in medicine at Istanbul University. Between 1944 and 1976, he specialized under Prof. Erich Frank (1884-1957) at the same university. In 1972, he was appointed internist at the Taksim Beyğğlu Emergebcy Hospital in Istanbul, where he served as clinic chief and chief physician until 1979. Istanbul is a Provinces of Turkey, Turkish province divided into three electoral districts of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It elects ninety-eight members of parliament (deputies) to represent the Istanbul Province, province of the same name for a five-year term by the D'Hondt method, a party-list proportional representation system. The Teşvikiye Mosque is a neo-baroque structure located in the Teşvikiye neighbourhood of Şişli district in Istanbul, Turkey. __NOTOC__ The Zincirlikuyu Cemetery ( tr, Zincirlikuyu Mezarlığı) is a modern burial ground residing on the European part of Istanbul, Turkey. It is administered by the Metropolitan Municipality. Many prominent figures from the world of politics, business, sports and arts rest here. The cemetery is located on the Büyükdere Avenue in Zincirlikuyu, Şişli district between Esentepe and Levent neighborhoods. It is Istanbul's first cemetery established in a contemporary structure.
