Ali Forbes
Ali Forbes (born 7 March 1961) is British former boxer who was British super middleweight champion in 1995 and fought for the World Boxing Federation light heavyweight world title in 2000. Career Born in London, Ali Forbes began his professional career in February 1989 at the age of 28 with a win over David Haycock. Unbeaten in his first seven fights he suffered his first defeat in March 1992 when he challenged Ian Strudwick for the BBBofC Southern Area super middleweight title, losing on points. When Strudwick vacated the title Forbes got a second chance in March 1994 against Richard Bustin, this time winning on points. In January 1995 he beat Fidel Castro Smith on points at the York Hall to become British super middleweight champion. The ''Coventry Telegraph'' is a local English tabloid newspaper. It was founded as ''The Midland Daily Telegraph'' in 1891 by William Isaac Iliffe, and was Coventry's first daily newspaper. Sold for half a penny, it was a four-page broadsheet newspaper. It changed its name to the ''Coventry Evening Telegraph'' on 17 November 1941. On 2 October 2006, the ''Telegraph'' simply became the ''Coventry Telegraph'', reflecting its switch to a morning publication. The newspaper became a part of the then Mirror Group (prior to its merger with Trinity to become Trinity Mirror), in 1997. Michael Nunn
Michael John Nunn (born April 14, 1963) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2002. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the IBF middleweight title from 1988 to 1991, and the WBA super middleweight title from 1992 to 1994. During both those reigns, he also held the lineal championship. In 2004, Nunn was sentenced to 24 years in prison for drug trafficking; he was released in February 2019. Amateur career Nunn won three Iowa Golden Gloves titles and posted an amateur record of 168-8. At the 1984 Olympic trials, U.S. boxing officials asked Nunn, who was boxing as a 156-pounder, to move up to the 165-pound division. Clinton Woods (born 1 May 1972) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1994 to 2009, and held the IBF light-heavyweight title from 2005 to 2008. Thomas Ulrich (born 11 July 1975, in Berlin) is a German former professional boxer who competed from 1997 to 2012. He challenged twice for a light-heavyweight world title: the WBC title in 2005, and the WBO/ lineal titles in 2006. He also held the European light-heavyweight title three times from 2002 to 2008.
