Ali Abdi Farah
Ali Abdi Farah () (born 1947). is a politician in Djibouti. He belongs to the Habr Awal subclan of the Isaaq. Farah served as diplomatic attaché to the President of the Republic, as head of general administration and consular affairs at the Ministry of External Affairs, and as First Adviser to the Embassy of Djibouti in Tunisia. He was appointed as Minister of Energy, Mines and Natural Resources on June 8, 1995, and was elected to the National Assembly in the December 1997 parliamentary election as the ninth candidate on the joint candidate list of the RPP and the Front for the Restoration of Unity and Democracy (FRUD). He was subsequently moved to the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in charge of Relations with Parliament on May 12, 1999. ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 CE) was the last of four Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. The issue of his succession caused a major rift between Muslims and divided them into Shia and Sunni groups. Ali Abdi Aware ( so, Cali Cabdi Aware, ar, علي عبدي العور) is a Somali politician. Biography Ali Abdi Awaare hails from the autonomous Puntland region in northeastern Somalia Born on 15 May 1957 in Bandar Beyla. He belongs to the Majeerteen Harti Darod clan. Awaare has over the years held various positions in the Puntland government, including as the State Minister of the Presidency for International Relations and Social Affairs. In 2008, he ran for president in that year's Puntland elections. He was eliminated in the first round of voting, receiving 4.55% of ballots. In 2013, Aware presented himself as a candidate in the 2014 Puntland presidential elections, which took place on 8 January 2014 in Garowe.
