Alhambra (EP)
''Alhambra'' (1996) is an EP by The Tea Party and was used as a bridge between ''The Edges of Twilight'' and ''Transmission'' albums. It includes four intricately re-worked acoustic songs from ''The Edges of Twilight'' and two others; the first a song entitled "Time" with Roy Harper on vocals, the second a remix of "Sister Awake" by Rhys Fulber. ''Alhambra'' is an Enhanced CD and includes multimedia that the band used as a way to explain themselves, inviting fans to explore the details of exotic instruments, song meanings and video and audio clips. The first song on the EP is "The Grand Bazaar", which was recorded during ''The Edges of Twilight'' sessions in December 1994 at A&M Studios in Los Angeles. The Tea Party
The Tea Party is a Canadian rock band with industrial rock, blues, progressive rock, and Middle Eastern music influences, dubbed " Moroccan roll" by the media. Active throughout the 1990s and up until 2005, the band re-formed in 2011. The Tea Party released eight albums on EMI Music Canada, selling over three million records worldwide, including four double-platinum awards, one platinum and four gold albums in Canada. Between 1996 and 2016, The Tea Party was the 35th best-selling Canadian artist in Canada. The Tea Party toured Canada on 21 occasions and Australia on twelve. In November 2002, the band toured Canada with symphony orchestras reinterpreting a decade's worth of shared songwriting. Breaking up in 2005 due to creative differences, the band members eventually re-united in 2011 to play several Canadian tour dates during the summer. The Jim Henson Company Lot, formerly A&M Studios, is a studio property located just south of the southeast corner of North La Brea Avenue and Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Simone Orlando
Simone Orlando is a Canadian ballet dancer and choreographer born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Orlando received her early dance training at the Carisbrooke School of Dance, the Vancouver Academy of Dance, and the Goh Ballet Academy. She completed her training at the National Ballet School in Toronto and subsequently joined the National Ballet of Canada in 1989 under the direction of Reid Anderson where she danced a wide range of repertoire from the ballets of John Cranko and Kenneth MacMillan to those of George Balanchine and Glenn Tetley. ''Triptych'' (stylized as ''TRIPtych'') is The Tea Party's fifth album, released in 1999. It has the trio blending the major influences found on their previous albums: the earthy rock music, rock of ''Splendor Solis (album), Splendor Solis'', the world music inspired arrangements of ''The Edges of Twilight'', and the industrial music, industrial edge of ''Transmission (The Tea Party album), Transmission''.
